Today we got our first fresh fruit snack...bananas!  What a great way to keep our brains working in the morning!


We read books and made posters about rural communities.  Here are some words the kids came up with to describe a rural community:
shops
farms
houses far apart
flowers
fields
kids ride the bus a long way to get to school
not a lot of traffic
banks
grow corn
soy beans
garden
horses
cows
animals
tomatoes 

Ask your child about what we learned today and see if they can remember some of these words.
